Priorities in order
Is it pathetic that, given a choice of long weekends to take a quick mountain vacation, I said no to the weekend that the last Harry Potter book will delivered to my door?
Nope. I'll be in Montanta for a necessary professional conference. We fly back on the 21st. I found a bookstore close to where we'll be staying, called & reserved a book & audio CD set (for the hubs). So that when we're travelling all day back home, we can read/listen to the book. Gotta have your priorities.... ; )
If it's wrong, I don't want to be right! (unless you can get the book before you leave and then sit outside reading it!) My SIL had my nephew the weekend the fifth book came out, so I finished it in like four days since I was able to read so much of it sitting around waiting for the baby to be born!
A month after being told that there was a less than 1% chance of conceiving again using my own eggs, I found myself pregnant. After an anxious pregnancy, I found myself blessed with another daughter. We decided to temp fate and try for a third child. Two miscarriages later, I'm trying to figure out what comes next. In this space, I talk about mothering, working and life in general.
